Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on maalsponsor.no and teamswidget.maalsponsor.no in three categories.
Necessary cookies are required for the service to function: login and authentication via Vipps, Idrettens ID (Buypass) and phone number, security, storing your consent choice, and operating the website (Wix). These cannot be switched off.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, Google Ireland Ltd) give us aggregated statistics about how the site and the registration flow are used and where visitors come from, which we use to improve the service. These are set only with your consent.
Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Meta Platforms Ireland, and Google Ads) are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant ads. Upon completed registration, we may share a hashed (encrypted) email address or phone number with Google and Meta for more accurate measurement. The hash cannot be read as plain text and is used only to match against an existing account with that provider. These are set only with your consent.
Your choice. On your first visit you choose in the cookie banner which categories you allow. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page. Your choice applies to both maalsponsor.no and teamswidget.maalsponsor.no. If you decline, no analytics or marketing cookies are set. We may still receive anonymous, aggregated signals without cookies (Google Consent Mode) that cannot be linked to you.
Retention. Your consent choice is stored for up to 12 months. The Google Analytics cookie (_ga) is stored for up to 2 years, the Meta cookie (_fbp) for 3 months. Necessary cookies last from the end of your session up to 12 months.
Third-country transfers. Google and Meta may process data in the United States. Transfers are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

SMS Campaign Data
To support team fundraising efforts, team leaders may input the names and phone numbers of players or their guardians into the Målsponsor platform. This data is used exclusively to send up to three SMS messages as part of a time-limited activation campaign.
To deliver these messages, phone numbers and message content are securely transmitted to our SMS delivery provider, acting as a data processor under our instructions. All processing is conducted in accordance with GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.
Processing is based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR — namely, supporting teams in running essential fundraising campaigns. This limited and time-bound use of data is assessed to be necessary, proportionate, and aligned with the expectations of the data subjects.
We retain core team registration data (such as player names) as long as it is required to deliver our services. However, any phone numbers collected solely for SMS delivery — including those of players and guardians — are automatically deleted 14 days after the last message is sent. If the contact belongs to a guardian of a minor under 16, both their name and number are deleted.
This SMS-related data is never reused, sold, or shared for unrelated purposes.
